Active Southern West Virginia is a non-profit providing an ecosystem of physical activity for the residents of southern West Virginia by offering programs led by trained volunteers from within the communities they serve.
Friends of the National Park Service work together to develop partnership projects and programs that address park priorities and have the potential to generate volunteer and philanthropic support in the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Gauley River National Recreation Area and Bluestone National Scenic River.
The Hinton Area Foundation is a non-profit, community foundation organized to encourage philanthropic giving and to provide a common source for contributions that benefit our service area of Summers County, WV. The Foundation’s purpose is to use all its available resources to build a strong and thriving community.
At New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, Bluestone National Scenic River, and Gauley River National Recreation Area, we welcome volunteers for a wide variety of projects and positions.
